Church Road Coalbrookdale Telford

Holy Trinity Church is a beautiful building that glorifies God and expresses the prosperity of the Dale in the mid-19th century. The church, though, is not a museum, it is a living place of worship and ministry. Services are held normally at 11:00 on Sundays on a rotation basis with St.Lawrence and St.Lukes, but please check on the website for Holy Trinity - coalironlitt.co.uk - times are also set out in the Parish News delivered to as many households as possible.  Visitors are always welcome to join us.

Ironbridge: St Luke

Church Hill Ironbridge Telford
01952415311
http://www.coalironlitt.co.uk

The building, erected in 1835/6, has a tower, a nave, side aisles and a small sanctuary. The tower contains a three dial clock, placed there by public subscription in 1838 and made by W. Davies of Shifnal.

The position of Ironbridge church is the reverse of the majority of churches, the sanctuary being at the west end and the tower at the east end. This is due to the fact that it was discovered that the land at the west end would not bear the weight of a tower.

Not just a building, this church is home to a growing worshipping community, and you will be made most welcome when you visit.

The location of the church means that access is sometimes difficult for people with mobility or disability issues. The church has a wheelchair if anyone has such difficulties. Please contact us if you require to book this in advance, so that an appropriate person is available to assist.
